Import from China wholesalers and manufacturers

I am not sure what you are using anything imported from China, but I am sure there are MANY. My friends in America told me that the "Made-in-China" is anywhere; you can find it and get it with low price at any time, if you want.

It was reported that China export decreased 17% by the end of first half year of 2009, but China, because of it's low cost labor and low cost materials, is still one of the biggest "export giant" in this Global Country. So, that means at status of finance crisis, "Made-in-China" will be still your first choice to satisfy your daily need, with less money spent.

I have been working in the China Branch of a retailer in America, at the same time, my office also played a role as China sourcing agent for many other stores, (just like A.M.C, which was bought by Target years ago.) I remember several years ago, maybe 10 years ago, many buyers came to "ROB" but not to buy. They would not mind your price, whatever it was, it was far lower than what in America. they just care about the shipping date. So every day I was called for hundreds of times, the only content was just: push the ship date. And, almost the same time, all Chinese manufacturers came to us to promote the sale of their products because they were not allowed to sell products to over-sea market by themselves.

Now, Chinese Gov. opens the Import and Export gate to all China manufacturers and China wholesalers, every Chinese factory know how to sell their products to America, U.K, Japan, France, Australia .... All over the world. Meanwhile, the buyers from all over the world have more chances to import from China.

But 10 years have passed, the labor cost in China raised 10 times, and raw materials are getting less and less. Is the Chinese wholesalers’ time going?

I have to say that the quality of products from China wholesalers have improved a lot in the past years together with production capacity and improvement of tech., but it is still not enough. 

Last year I received a letter from one of my long-time cooperated customers, he claimed that one Chinese factory sent bad quality products to him after get payment but did not accept chargeback, and entrusted me to investigate that factory. Yes, it was a factory with bad reputation, and they have strong background with some Gov. Officers. Below tips tell you how to import from China safely.

1. Do not trust Global B2B Marketplaces, many scammers post trade leads on B2B marketplaces for free or with just less money.
   Find your suppliers by recommendation of friends, or third party. Good China Sourcing Agent can save you more money than your own officers.
2. Ensure to arrange Quality engineer to perform on-site inspection before payment. A person who know products and business and help you more.
3. Chargback details are important and now more and more China wholesalers accept it.
4. Lead time would be determined or you will wait for more time and might miss in-store time.
5. All-steps pictures support is recommended. Ask the guy you entrusted to take and send pictures of your products at every stage of the order, for production, Quality inspection, shipment, etc.
